Shorn to an even 1.25 inches, the cushy fleece wicks away moisture and allows airflow under pressure.

Sit, lie, or rest directly on the sheepskin for best results, or cover with a thin sheet.

This is a NATURAL PRODUCT. No two sheep are exactly alike. The hide has been hand cut to preserve the original shape.

There may be a few scrapes or blemishes on the back from processing the hide which does not affect the properties of the fleece.

How to use a medical sheepskin: Lay directly on sheepskin or cover with thin sheet. Springy fleece relieves pressure points, conforms to body. Shorn fibers allow airflow underneath to maintain comfortable temperature. Soft leather underside is nonslip fitting to the shape of a chair or funiture. If cutting to a custom size, use sharp razor on leather side to avoid cross cutting fibers.

Both the source of the hides and the tanning was done in traditional regions for raising sheep and tanning sheepskins.

You should know both where the hides are from and where the product is made.

Sheepskins from Europe

UK bred Suffolk and Texel sheep are the source of the hides. They are European heritage breeds from the regions where they are native. These are the flocks of white sheep you see traveling around the UK countryside.

Our sheepskins are tanned in Poland. The Carpathian Mountain region of Europe has been a historical center of sheepskin tanning for centuries. They are made according to stringent, modern European Union standards.

This is a natural sheepskin, hand cut to preserve the full size and shape. Each one is a bit different, following the contours of the hide.

The leather side is very soft and supple it conforms nicely into a chair, couch, bed, car seat, or anywhere.

Natural Cushion

The fleece has been shorn to an even 1.25 inch to allow air flow. The resilient fibers bounce up and conform to your body’s pressure.

Shake and fluff from time to time to revive the cushiness.

Hand or Machine Wash
